The government has just announced the newest mileage rates to be used in 2008.

As a reflection on the rising cost of gas, the new rate, beginning January 1, 2008 is:

$.505 for business miles
$.19 for medical miles and moving miles
$.14 for charitable and volunteer miles

Remember for your 2007 tax return the business rate is $.485 miles and $.14 for medical miles, moving miles and charitable/volunteer miles
