If you paid any one person or any entity that is not a corporation at least $600 to perform services for your business, you will need to issue them a 1099 – Miscellaneous form. You need to send a copy to the individual by January 31, 2010 and file those copies with the Internal Revenue Service by March 1, 2010. You can get those forms in most office supply stores and some are available to download off the IRS website, www.IRS.gov. You can always call our office for assistance.
